As you have no doubt been made aware – and tapped for a few quid along the way possibly – the MoonWalk London 2015 was indeed joined by two new participants this year in the form of Herok’s Connie Gardiner and Laura Purrell as Team Herok Chicks.
Just so you know, the MoonWalk London 2015 is put on by ‘Walk the Walk’, a grant making charity, set up 19 years ago to raise money and awareness for breast cancer. Everybody taking part in their challenges is raising money for Walk the Walk. The charity then looks at various projects and campaigns that are involved with breast cancer and grants funds to where it will make the most difference.
HEROK WALKED THE WALK!
Team Herok Chicks have excelled themselves in raising a total of £787.04, smashing their target of £500.
Connie talks the talk “It was really challenging but at the same time great fun and we like to think our little bit of effort made a difference. We must say a massive THANK YOU to all those who sponsored us, it really means a lot to us, and we’ll be thinking of you whilst we are nursing our blisters!! ”
When Connie and Laura are not fund raising they are beavering away like little elves making children’s school and library furniture…
Herok manufactures a wide choice of sturdy Kinderboxes, book trolleys, library shelving, book and media spinners, book displays and reading corners in a great range of colours. See www.Herok.com for further details of all of our school library furniture products.
