This year Children’s Book Week runs from 6 to 12 July to celebrate reading and share the joy of books with children and young people.
As you have no doubt been made aware – and tapped for a few quid along the way possibly – the MoonWalk London 2015 was indeed joined by two new participants this year in the form of Herok’s Connie Gardiner and Laura Purrell as Team Herok Chicks.

A Readathon is an easy to run sponsored reading challenge. Children read for pleasure and are excited by the extra challenge to raise money for seriously ill children. Children talk about books, share and swap favourites, and are genuinely motivated to read.
